
Why should the kids have all the fun? Join Coach Dave to get a head start on the ski season. SCOTIA XC will be offering a weekly dry-land training session for Adults.
The training is open to adults interested in developing their ski fitness in an enjoyable, social environment. The format will focus on activities that develop cardio & muscles specific for skiing: strength, balance, & technique.Participants can engage at a level that meets their fitness level & comfort level(challenge by choice ). Each session will consist of a dynamic warm up, ski specific exercises (fitness circuit format), & ski walking/striding.
It is suggested that participants have been engaged in some form of consistent physical activity in the past 4-6 months.
- Sunday mornings (9 – 10:30) starting Oct 5, 12, 19, 26 and Nov 2, 9 & 16, 2025
- 7 weeks in total.
- Location: Fort Needham Memorial Park (Hydrostone Area, North Halifax).
- Work at your own pace and comfort level.
- Details about equipment will vary (i.e. Yoga mat, Nordic poles) and will be communicated by Coach Dave.
- Club membership (2025/2026) required + $30 for the program fee.
